The Project Management Fundamentals course is aligned with the A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) - Sixth Edition methodology and provides the learner with essential skills to manage an entire project, or be an effective member of a project team. Individual modules address fundamental steps and activities encountered in every project.

The series is mapped against the PMBOK® Guide-Sixth Edition and examine the ten Knowledge Areas, five Process Groups, and 47 Processes that form the basis of the PMBOK® Guide-Sixth Edition.
The learner will examine how a project is broken down into manageable tasks and displayed in a project activity chart, taking into account the relationship between tasks. The methods used to determine the critical path and float is also covered in detail. Aspects relating to the scheduling of project tasks, the monitoring, and reporting of the project’s progress are also covered in detail.
The series also introduces the importance of effective stakeholder, communication, human resources, and quality management in regards to successful projects.
